Job summary

Menschen Consulting Pvt. Ltd. seeks a seasoned AGM/DGM - Plant Production to lead all technical operations at our Dehradun facility.

You will manage HODs across Production, Tool Room, Maintenance and Quality, driving cross-functional coordination and continuous improvement in injection molding processes. You will oversee Windsor and Milacron operations (100T-650T), ensure process optimization, and maintain high-quality output with minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Injection Molding operations (auto preferred).
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Hands-on with Windsor & Milacron machines (100T-650T).
• Experience in ISO/IATF and CAPA processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall plant technical operations and manage HODs (Production, Tool Room, Maintenance, Quality).
• Oversee end-to-end injection molding operations and process optimization.
• Guide tool room to resolve mould issues and optimize tooling.
• Implement QMS per automotive standards; conduct audits and handle CAPA.
• Plan AM/PM schedules; monitor via SAP PM; drive CBM & MP initiatives.
• Drive production planning, cost optimization, and on-time delivery.
• Lead automation projects to improve efficiency and reduce NVA.

Job Description

Position Title: AGM/DGM - Plant Production

Location: Dehradun

Job Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Management

• Lead overall plant technical operations and manage HODs (Production, Tool Room, Maintenance, Quality, etc.)
• Drive cross-functional coordination and ensure smooth plant operations
• Ensure strong team development and performance tracking of the technical staff

2. Injection Molding Operations

• Manage end-to-end injection molding operations (Windsor and Milacron machines: 100T-650T)
• Oversee machine setup, process optimization, parameter setting, and troubleshooting
• Ensure consistent production yield, quality output, and minimal downtime

3. Tool Room & Mould Management

• In-depth understanding of mould design, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Guide the tool room team to resolve mould-related issues and optimize tooling performance

4. Quality & Compliance

• Implement and maintain QMS as per automotive industry standards (ISO/TS, IATF)
• Conduct quality audits, manage customer complaints, and ensure CAPA implementation
• Use of 7 QC tools, FMEA, and other quality assurance methodologies
• Ensure full compliance with customer audits and certifications

5. Maintenance & Utilities

• Plan and implement AM, PM schedules; monitor performance via SAP PM module
• Drive CBM (Condition Based Maintenance) and MP (Maintenance Prevention) initiatives
• Analyze downtime and lead CAPA implementation to improve equipment reliability

6. Production Planning & Cost Optimization

• Ensure timely dispatch with full compliance with OTDIF (On-Time Delivery In-Full)
• Lead cost reduction through process innovation, automation, and material substitution
• Control engineering consumption (power, labour, raw materials) within budget

7. Process Improvement & Automation

• Lead automation projects to enhance efficiency, reduce manpower cost, and eliminate NVA (Non-Value-Added activities)
• Conduct ROI analysis and obtain approvals for process improvement projects.

Education & Experience

• Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Polymer / Plastics Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 15+ years in Injection Molding operations (automotive preferred), with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Machines: Hands-on experience with Windsor & Milacron (100T-650T)
• Technical Expertise: Injection Moulding, Mould Design & Maintenance, Machine Settings, SAP PM Module
• Quality Systems: ISO/IATF, 7 QC Tools, FMEA, CAPA, Customer Handling
• Project Management: Proven ability to lead automation, cost control, and efficiency improvement projects.
