Job summary

Suncorp Solutions in Panvel seeks a Senior Maintenance Engineer for crusher operations. You will lead day-to-day plant activities, coordinate maintenance, and ensure safety and quality while liaising with authorities, vendors, and customers.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of crushing plants, experience with maintenance planning, and the ability to work outdoors in demanding conditions. Willingness to travel as needed is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of stone crushing plants and equipment.
• Good knowledge on high frequency screens and sand washing plants.
• Production planning and operational management.
• Problem-solving, decision-making, and reporting skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors, in extreme weather conditions, and in a noisy and dusty environment.
• Flexible to work extended hours, and weekends when required.
• Welding / torch-cutting experience is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of soils, sand and aggregate classification to help produce spec material through the crushing operation.
• Capable of working independently when needed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Use of personal protection equipment is required.
• Must be willing to travel to other work sites as and when required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Email (Outlook/Gmail).
• Have good mechanical knowledge and experience with general equipment maintenance required for crushing operations.

Responsibilities

• Managed day-to-day crusher plant operations to achieve production targets.
• Ensure optimum plant performance, equipment utilization, and product quality.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Liaise with government authorities, contractors, vendors, and customers.
• Monitor safety, statutory compliance, and operational discipline.
• Prepare production reports and maintain operational records.
• Analyze production details and take proactive decisions to improve.
• Maintain OEM recommended spare parts stocking at given sites.
• Arrange the Crusher operating team as and when required.
• Lead and manage supervisors, operators, mechanics, and unskilled manpower.
