Job summary

Propelind seeks a Service Engineer for Mobile Crushers (Track Mounted) to perform on-site mechanical service, maintenance, and repair at customer sites or service facilities. You will troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues, prepare field reports, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with engineering teams.

Willingness to travel and work in challenging environments is required; Diploma/BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of experience are preferred.

Job Description :

On-Site Mechanical Service

• Execute hands-on mechanical service, maintenance, and repair of track-mounted crushers at customer sites or service facilities.
• Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently in line with manufacturer specifications.

Troubleshooting & Corrective Actions

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and operational issues to identify root causes.
• Implement corrective measures promptly to minimize equipment downtime.

Technical Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare detailed service and field reports, including fault analysis, repair actions, and parts utilized.
• Provide technical recommendations for customers and internal support teams.

Field Inspections & Compliance

• Conduct field inspections following company and global service standards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and escalat**e** complex technical issues to Engineering or Technical Support teams when required.

Service Documentation & Reporting

• Accurately complete and submit all service, inspection, and maintenance documentation as per company and client requirements.

Escalation & Service Delivery

• Monitor ongoing service tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve delays and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.

Parts & Inventory Management

• Identify, requisition, and manage required spare parts to support efficient service operations.
• Ensure optimal use of inventory to reduce downtime and improve service turnaround.

Preventive Maintenance & Equipment Audits

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and equipment audits on a monthly or quarterly basis.
• Proactively recommend maintenance actions to improve reliability and extend equipment life.

Continuous Improvement & Technical Development

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in crushing equipment technology and maintenance best practices.
• Provide feedback to improve service procedures and equipment performance.

Skills Required :

• Education: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of proven experience in servicing and maintaining crushing and screening equipment (preferably track-mounted crushers).

Technical Skills:

• Strong mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.
• Effective communication and technical report writing skills.
