Job summary

Brickwork India in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior HR Generalist with 7-9 years of experience to manage core HR operations and support employees on US shifts (EST/PST). Responsibilities

  • Own onboarding lifecycle for new hires and maintain compliant documentation.
  • Monitor attendance for EST/PST shifts and coordinate with payroll.
  • Develop and enforce HR policies (attendance, leave, conduct, WFH).
  • Design and execute employee engagement initiatives for US-shift staff.
  • Manage grievances, investigations, and confidentiality.
  • Oversee exit management including interviews and attrition analytics.

Job Summary

We are hiring a Senior HR Generalist with 7-9 years of experience in core HR operations, supporting employees working in US shifts (EST/PST). The role requires strong expertise in onboarding, HR documentation, attendance management, policy implementation, employee engagement, grievance handling, and exit management.

1. Employee Onboarding & Documentation
  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding lifecycle for new hires
  • Ensure 100% collection, verification, and archival of joining documents.
  • Maintain accurate employee master data in HRMS and Excel trackers.
  • Conduct virtual onboarding sessions for US shift employees.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory documentation requirements.
2. HR Operations & Attendance Management
  • Monitor and validate attendance records for EST/PST shift employees.
  • Coordinate with payroll for attendance inputs, leave records, and shift validations.
  • Manage the leave management system and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain HR dashboards and MIS reports (Excel-based tracking and reporting).
  • Ensure data integrity and audit readiness.
3. Policy Development & Enforcement
  • Draft, review, and update HR policies (attendance, leave, conduct, WFH, etc.).
  • Ensure policy communication and acknowledgment from employees.
  • Drive consistent policy enforcement across US shift teams.
  • Conduct periodic policy awareness sessions.
  • Support leadership in implementing governance frameworks.
4. Employee Engagement
  • Design and execute engagement initiatives tailored for EST/PST shift employees.
  • Conduct pulse surveys and analyze engagement metrics.
  • Plan virtual engagement activities aligned with cultural diversity.
  • Drive retention-focused HR Initiatives.
5. Grievance Handling & Conflict Management
  • Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) for employee concerns.
  • Conduct structured grievance investigations with documentation.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution through mediation and policy alignment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance in all cases.
  • Escalate critical matters appropriately to HR leadership.
6. Exit Management
  • Manage a structured exit process including resignation acceptance, clearance, and F&F coordination.
  • Conduct exit interviews and prepare attrition analytics reports.
  • Identify trends in attrition and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer and handover compliance.
Required Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, dashboards).
  • Strong documentation and compliance orientation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Conflict resolution and stakeholder management capability.
  • Analytical mindset with MIS reporting expertise.
