TenthPlanet Technologies in Chennai is seeking an experienced Senior HCM/HR Tech Product Specialist to own functional design for Core HR, Payroll, and Time & Attendance across client implementations.

You will lead requirement workshops with CHROs and payroll heads, configure complex payroll structures, and oversee data migration and go-live readiness. Strong documentation, data validation, and senior stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Deep functional experience in HCM and payroll domains with multiple HRMS platforms.
• Experience leading end-to-end HRMS implementations through go-live and stabilization.
• Ability to run discovery workshops with CHROs, payroll heads and finance stakeholders.
• Proficient in creating BRDs, FDDs, fit-gap analyses and configuration documents.
• Strong data migration experience and parallel payroll reconciliation.

Responsabilités

• Own the functional solution design for Core HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance and Leave.
• Lead requirement workshops and translate HR/payroll processes into signed-off designs.
• Configure and validate payroll structures and ensure payslip components align with policy.
• Plan data migration from legacy systems including parallel runs and reconciliation.
• Lead SIT and UAT cycles, manage go-live readiness and support early payroll cycles.
• Define specs for customisations and integrations with ERP, biometric, and banking systems.
• Support pre-sales with demos, fit-gap assessments and competitive positioning.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to playbooks and accelerators.

Senior HCM/HR Tech Product Specialist/Functional Expert Payroll & Core HR

Must-Have Skills

• HCM implementation, HRMS product development, HCM support experiences
• Employee Information [EIS], Leave, Attendance, Performance Management, Payroll, Compensation, Statutory compliance, Learning and other HCM/HRMS related modules experiences is a must to have
• Deep functional experience on one or more enterprise HRMS platforms, such as Adrenalin, Darwinbox, greytHR, Keka, HROne, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or Workday.
• Led at least 3 end-to-end HRMS implementations as the functional lead, through go-live and stabilisation.
• Expert knowledge of Indian payroll and statutory compliance: PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS under both tax regimes, gratuity, bonus, arrears, and full-and-final settlement.
• Proven ability to run discovery workshops with CHROs, payroll heads, and finance stakeholders.
• Strong documentation skills, including BRDs, FDDs, fit-gap analysis, and configuration documents.
• Experience leading data migration and parallel payroll reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of Excel, SQL, or report builders to validate data independently.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the confidence to present to senior client leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the functional solution design for Core HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Leave, and Claims across client implementations.
• Lead requirement workshops and translate client HR and payroll processes into signed-off solution designs.
• Configure and validate complex payroll structures, and make sure every payslip component is compliant and can be traced to the client’s policy.
• Plan and govern data migration from legacy systems, including parallel runs and reconciliation before go-live.
• Lead SIT and UAT cycles, manage go-live readiness, and support the first two payroll cycles after launch.
• Define functional specifications for customisations and integrations with ERP, biometric, and banking systems, and review the delivered work against them.
• Support pre-sales with solution demos, fit-gap assessments, and competitive positioning.
• Mentor product specialists and junior consultants, and contribute to practice playbooks and accelerators.
• Work on implementation, onboarding, customization, integration and support phases of a project life cycle
