Job summary

Bhumika Group is seeking a Sr. General Manager Projects (Construction) to lead end-to-end construction for large residential, commercial, retail and mixed-use developments in India.

You will drive on-time delivery within budgets, enforce quality standards and implement robust project plans across multiple sites. • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech) is required.
• 15+ years of Real Estate construction experience with large-scale residential and commercial projects.
• Proven track record delivering multiple projects from inception to handover.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end construction execution of Residential, Commercial, Retail and Mixed-Use developments.
• Drive timely project delivery within approved budgets, quality standards and business objectives.
• Implement project execution plans and ensure alignment with organizational goals set by the President Projects.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, resource allocation and construction sequencing across multiple projects.
• Oversee Civil, Structural, Architectural, MEP, Interior, Infrastructure and Finishing works.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project teams, Project Managers, Site Heads, consultants, contractors and vendors.
• Ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, quality benchmarks and construction methodologies.
• Review project budgets, billing, cash flows, cost controls and contractor performance.
• Ensure compliance with statutory approvals, local regulations, safety requirements and company policies.
• Coordinate closely with Design, Procurement, Contracts, Finance and Liaison teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Conduct regular site reviews, project audits and progress meetings.
• Develop and review MIS reports, dashboards and project status updates for senior management.
• Drive implementation of quality assurance and safety management systems across all projects.
• Support the team in achieving project delivery targets and operational excellence objectives.
• Build, mentor and develop high-performing construction and project management teams.

Desired Profile

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in Real Estate Construction with exposure to large-scale Residential and Commercial projects.
• Proven track record of delivering multiple projects from inception to handover.
• Strong expertise in Construction Management, Project Planning, Contracts, Cost Control and Quality Systems.
• Experience in managing multiple sites, contractors, and project teams simultaneously.
