Job summary

Vaishnavi Group is looking for an experienced project manager to lead end-to-end execution of commercial construction projects in India. The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience managing projects in office spaces, malls, and IT parks, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Responsibilities include monitoring on-site activities, ensuring adherence to drawings and specifications, and preparing periodic reports. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential for coordinating with various stakeholders while maintaining project quality and timelines.

Job description

• Lead end-to-end execution of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget
• Review and validate drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contracts issued by consultants and contractors
• Develop detailed project schedules (bar charts), resource plans, and construction phasing in coordination with management
• Coordinate with architects, structural, MEP, and other consultants for timely design inputs and issue resolution
• Monitor on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising design intent or project quality
• Track project progress against the master construction plan and provide regular updates to senior management
• Conduct site inspections and review contractor performance, productivity, and safety practices
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, local authority approvals, and safety standards
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively resolve issues
• Lead vendor and contractor negotiations, including finalization of work orders and contracts
• Ensure proper documentation of site changes, variation orders, and as-built drawings
• Prepare periodic MIS reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders
• Drive quality assurance and ensure timely project handover to clients
