Job summary

Blissclub Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Fit Technician to own technical prototypes with the Design Team and deliver premium, production-ready fits within seasonal timelines.

You will drive fit principles, ensure pattern accuracy, and apply manufacturing best practices across womens/knits and intimates categories. Domestic and occasional international travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree with focused training in Technical Design and Pattern making.
• 5+ years minimum industry experience in womens/knits or intimates.
• Proficiency in Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator) and MS Office.
• Experience with pattern making software (Lectra/Gerber).
• Experience collaborating with pattern engineers and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & timelines: implement short and long term fit strategies with strict calendars.
• Lead live model fittings to assess balance, construction and garment performance.
• Maintain tech packs, measurement charts, grading rules and fit notes.
• Identify fit issues and coordinate with design, production and vendors.
• Oversee samples from prototype to production approval.
• Collaborate with Design, Production and Sourcing to resolve constraints.
• Refine measurement guidelines and grade rules for cross-category sizing.
• Train new suppliers on pattern systems and technical specs.
• Support vendor on-site planning for sampling and development.

About the Role:

The Senior Fit Technician is responsible for owning and partnering with the Design Team to ready technical prototypes within seasonal timelines. You drive fit principles, bodies and protocol consistency across all categories of the business by leveraging manufacturing best practices, industry technical fit, pattern expertise, and market insights to educate and mentor on standards. Your goal is to deliver a premium, functional, and innovative product fit for production.

Responsibilities:

• Strategy & Timelines: Execute on short and long term technical development and fit excellence strategies, working with strict timelines and calendar dates to deliver exceptional work, on-time.
• Fit Sessions & Live Models: Lead live model fittings to evaluate product fit, balance, construction, and overall garment performance.
• Technical Packages & Specs: Maintain accurate tech packs, including measurement charts, grading rules, construction details, and fit notes across all stages.
• Pattern & Construction Analysis: Identify fit issues and collaborate with design, product development, and vendors to execute necessary pattern corrections and construction adjustments.
• Sample Management: Oversee sample timelines from initial prototype to final production approval, ensuring consistency with brand sizing standards.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with Design, Production, and Sourcing teams to resolve quality or manufacturing constraints without compromising design intent.
• Standardization & Best Practices: Continuous refinement of measurement guidelines, grade rules, and fit standards to ensure cross-category sizing consistency.
• Vendor Onboarding & Training: Execute vendor onboarding training for new suppliers on pattern systems, quality standards, measurement charts, and technical documents.
• Vendor On-Site Planning: Support and participate with Product Team partners in the organization and fit planning of vendor on-sites to review sampling and product development.

Qualifications:

Degree with focused training in Technical Design and Pattern making

5+ years minimum industry experience (preferably in women’s and/or men’s knitwear, base layers and intimates)

Proficiency in Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator ), MS office (Excel/Word)

Working knowledge of pattern making software (example: Lectra, Gerber)

Experience working directly with Pattern Engineers (external)

Practiced in the art of mentoring and training others

This role requires domestic and occasional international travel.

A plus if you have the active wear and Intimates experience:

Extensive technical knowledge of Cup and Band and intimates product lifecycle, fit, construction, and manufacturing

Advanced knowledge specifically in Bra moulding and Grading for production

Exposure to fitting on Plus body types as well as multiple cup intentions
