Job summary

Asian Paints Limited is seeking a Senior Executive - PED (Instrumentation) for its Noida operations. The role focuses on maintaining process control systems (DCS/PLC/field instruments), ensuring reliability and safety across the plant.

You will coordinate downtime, manage spares, and collaborate with vendors to implement cost-effective instrumentation solutions while adhering to regulatory standards and plant-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and upkeep of the process control system.
• Monitoring and timely maintenance of DCS, PLC and field instruments per guidelines.
• Spares management with budgeting and timely procurement.

Responsibilities

• No failure of process control system due to maintenance issue.
• Zero downtime due to non-availability of spares.
• Team work & good behavior; cost control.
• Minimal downtime and issues in operations.
• Adhering to statutory requirements of Weights & Measures.
• Streamline and vertical ramp up of new projects.
• Maintenance and upkeep of the process control system.
• Maintaining proper maintenance schedule for all critical process control & monitoring system (DCS, PLC & Field Instrument) and ensure timely maintenance activities as per guidelines.
• Coordination for planned downtime; check health of communication topology (Profibus DP & Profinet) and take necessary actions.
• Hands on experience of ABB DCS & PLC system.
• Basic understanding of communication topology or network; hands on experience of monitoring and measuring instrumentation (Level, Flow, Temperature, Pressure, Weighing system).
• Spares management: Maintaining adequate inventory of spares and consumables; budgeting and timeliness.

• procuring material, services & alternate solution with reasonable cost.
• Software trouble shooting for various Application systems communication
• (DCS,PLC)
• Supporting new automation initiatives at Plant (e.g., local communication,
• Enterprise Asset Management, Efficiency improvement tools etc)
