Job summary

JobItUs in Mumbai, India is seeking a proactive Business Development professional to identify opportunities in international markets and map competitors to target customers. You will generate leads through LinkedIn, databases, and exhibitions, and coordinate with internal teams to tailor solutions.

You will build relationships with decision makers, schedule meetings, support on-site activities at events, and maintain CRM records of meetings, follow-ups, and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry mapping to identify potential customers and market opportunities.
• Generate and qualify leads through LinkedIn, databases, industry platforms, exhibitions, and other channels.
• Approach prospective customers and establish relationships with key decisionmakers.
• Understand customer requirements and coordinate internally to offer suitable products and customized solutions.
• Manage regular follow-ups with prospects and existing customers to support business conversion and relationship development.
• Plan and coordinate participation in international exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings.
• Schedule meetings with potential customers before exhibitions and support on-site business development activities.
• Prepare customer profiles, meeting snapshots, company research, and prospect briefs for management and sales teams.
• Maintain and update customer/prospect information, meeting outcomes, follow-up activities, and opportunities in CRM/database systems.
• Coordinate with Sales, Technical, R&D, Quality, and other internal teams for customer requirements and inquiries.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, product developments, and opportunities across target international markets.
• Prepare marketing presentations, product communication, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and other B2B promotional content.
• Support market expansion and account development activities across assigned international territories.
• Prepare periodic reports on leads, meetings, exhibitions, market intelligence, and business development activities.
