Job summary

Aditi Consulting is seeking a dedicated Plant HR professional to manage worker relations, payroll processing, and statutory compliance for a manufacturing environment in Goa, India.

The role requires experience with unionized workforces and contract labor, as well as strong MS Excel and reporting skills to maintain HR MIS and dashboards.

Qualifications

• MBA/PGDM in HR, MSW or equivalent.
• 3–6 years of Plant HR, worker relations or compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cordial relations with workmen and union representatives; participate in union meetings and grievance handling.
• Support end-to-end payroll processing for workmen and contract workforce; ensure statutory compliance.
• Monitor contract labor deployment and conduct compliance checks; assist with government inspections and audits.
• Support canteen, transport, housekeeping, and attendance management; prepare HR MIS and reports.

Job description

Summary:

This role focuses on Plant/Unit HR, worker relations, and labor compliance, with responsibilities covering payroll, contract labor, statutory compliance, and shop-floor HR operations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cordial relations with workmen and union representatives. Participate in union meetings, grievance handling, and shop-floor interactions. Resolve worker concerns and support worker engagement initiatives. Assist with settlements, notices, and disciplinary actions as applicable.
• Support end-to-end payroll processing for workmen and contract workforce. Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and statutory requirements. Maintain statutory registers, records, and returns. Coordinate with contractors for monthly compliance documentation and audits.
• Monitor contract labor deployment, attendance, and statutory documentation. Conduct contractor compliance checks and support audits. Coordinate during government inspections and support closure of compliance observations.
• Support canteen, transport, housekeeping, uniforms, and statutory notices. Support Company planning, time office, and attendance management. Prepare and maintain HR MIS, dashboards, and reports.

Requirements:

• MBA / PGDM in Human Resources, MSW, or equivalent qualification.
• 3-6 years of experience in Plant HR, worker relations, or compliance roles, preferably in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.
• Preferred exposure to unionized workforce and contract labor management.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and factory compliance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with unions and workforce.
• Hands-on experience in payroll processing and compliance activities.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and resilient in handling shop-floor HR challenges.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
