Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Review day-to-day accounting entries and ensure accuracy in books.
• Conduct periodic trial balance reviews and reconcile discrepancies.
• Oversee vendor and customer account reconciliations.
• Manage end-to-end payment processes, including import payments, local vendor payments, advances, and statutory dues.
• Handle BG issuance, tracking, and closure.
• Coordinate OD renewal documentation with banks.
• Prepare and file MSME returns within timelines.
• Ensure compliance with statutory payments and filings (PF, ESI, TDS, GST).
• Coordinate statutory audit activities: reporting, handling queries, Ind AS compliance, walk-throughs, and audit meetings.
• Maintain and update FAR (Fixed Asset Register).
• Oversee inventory valuation and participate in periodic physical verification.
• Manage insurance renewals and coordinate claims settlement processes.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare and review monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Review monthly provisions, trial balances, and finalize reports.
• Develop monthly plan P&L and cash flow projections for management review.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, or Accounting; MBA (Finance) / CA Inter preferred.
• 3-6 years of experience in business finance, FP&A, or commercial finance roles, preferably in EMS or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, cost structures, and margin drivers in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
