Job summary

• Strong cost accounting and inventory management knowledge.
• GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance expertise.
• Hands-on ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/Tally) for costing modules.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations.
• Oversee finalization of accounts and prepare P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Handle costing, production costs, overheads, and variance analysis.
• Manage inventory valuation and stock reconciliation with production stores.
• Ensure GST, TDS, and income tax filings and filings timeliness.
• Coordinate audits with statutory, internal, and tax teams.
• Prepare budgets, cash flow forecasts, and MIS reports for management.
• Manage working capital, fund flow, and liaise with banks for credit facilities.
• Oversee fixed assets accounting, depreciation, and capex tracking.
• Oversee payroll processing and statutory compliances (PF, ESIC, PT).
• Implement internal controls and SOPs across finance functions.
• Collaborate with plant/production teams for financial planning.
• Utilize ERP systems for financial reporting, costing, and inventory.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Oversee finalization of accounts, monthly/quarterly/annual closing, and preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Handle costing and cost control for manufacturing operations raw material costing, production costs, overheads, and variance analysis
• Manage inventory valuation and coordinate with production/stores for stock reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements; handle timely filing of returns
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits
• Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow forecasts, and MIS reports for management
• Manage working capital, fund flow, and liaise with banks for credit facilities, LC, and other financial instruments
• Monitor fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and capex tracking
• Oversee payroll processing and statutory compliances (PF, ESIC, PT)
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls and SOPs across finance functions
• Work closely with plant/production teams to align financial planning with manufacturing operations
• Utilize ERP systems for financial reporting, costing, and inventory management

Preferred candidate profile

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification
• 812 years of relevant experience, with significant exposure to the manufacturing sector
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing overheads
• Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, or similar) — manufacturing/costing modules preferred
• Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling, MIS, and reporting
• Strong analytical, leadership, and team management skills
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams (production, procurement, sales)
