Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day import and export procedures, supporting shipments across containers and drop shipments.
• Coordinate with CHAs and logistics partners; ensure 100% accuracy in trade documentation.
• Track shipments and drive efficiency across the global supply chain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant and timely customs clearance.
• Support audits and ensure adherence to regional and international trade regulations.

Role Description

We are seeking an operational Senior Executive – Import & Export to execute daily international trade activities, streamline customs clearance workflows, and maintain flawless trade compliance. Reporting to cross-functional stakeholders and working closely with leadership, you will manage day-to-day import-export documentation, coordinate with CHAs and logistics partners, track shipments, and drive efficiency across our global supply chain.

• Trade & Operations Execution: Execute day-to-day import and export procedures, supporting shipments across containers, bonded warehousing, and drop shipments. Ensure 100% accuracy in international trade documentation.
• Customs Coordination & Digital Tools: Workdirectly with Customs House Agents (CHAs) for smooth clearance. Utilize ICEGATE and customs portals for real-time tracking, accurate tariff classification (HSN), and duty submission.
• Cost Tracking & Vendor Liaison: Support cost optimization by monitoring freight invoices, tracking transit times to eliminate demurrage and detention charges, and reviewing CHA performance metrics.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance, tax, HSE, warehouse, and transportation teams to eliminate shipment delays and ensure seamless end-to-end logistics execution.
• Compliance & Audits: Maintain strict adherence to regional and international trade regulations supporting internal audit and trade certification initiatives (  

Key Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of operational experience in Import & Export processes ideally within the food or nutraceutical ingredients sector.
• Strong hands‑on experience with ICEGATE, CHA coordination, shipping documentation, HSN code identification, and duty structures.
• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• Strong organizational agility., execution focus , clear  communication skills and an ability to independently solve operational supply chain bottlenecks.
