Responsibilities

• Execute import and export operations to ensure timely delivery at lowest landed cost.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics vendors.
• Prepare and validate documentation (invoice, packing list, B/L).
• Track and trace shipments, manage claims and invoicing, and ensure compliance (HSE/quality/risk).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to support tender processes and performance management.

You will execute our import and export operations to ensure our goods arrive on time at the lowest landed cost while ensuring customs compliance with regulations. To excel in this role, you will work collaboratively with business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions and execution. Externally, you will be responsible for the operational management of third-party logistics vendors, customs brokers, freight forwarders and other stakeholders needed to perform and deliver the requirements of this role. Additionally, you will be responsible for activities such as documentation preparation (invoice, packing list, bills of lading), customs management, track and trace, claims management, invoice billing management, compliance execution (HSE, quality, risk management), tenders support, and third-party performance management.

How you will contribute

You will:

• Provide a high-level of service to the Imports of Raw materials and Capital goods import also export intercompany shipments process conducted by direct reports and support to all functions involved in the process
• Be responsible for the Pre Check of Imports and Exports documents and Custom clearance. Exports majorly intercompany and SAP knowledge will be additional advantage
• Ancillary agencies knowledge (FSSAI, AQ, PQ, ADC, EIA)
• Be responsible for other Imports export documents validation and preparation all of types of certificates
• Cooperate with external parties for example Custom House Agent, Freight Forwarder Liners, Overseas Vendors, Transporter and their payments also do the handholding with all internal stake holders
• Cooperate with the warehouse team and third-party logistics operators for shipment preparation and their timely deliveries.
• Should be responsible for the KPI of CHA, Freight forwarder, 4PL agent and document retention for upcoming audits.
