Vinmar International is seeking a diligent Export Documentation Specialist in Mumbai to manage LC scrutiny, export/import documentation, and risk mitigation across multiple countries. You will review LC drafts, coordinate with overseas offices and banking teams, and ensure compliance with UCP 600/ISBP while maintaining accurate SAP/GTS/MIS updates and timely final document preparation.

The role requires graduate education with export/import qualification and strong communication, MS Word/Excel

• Exposure to banking operations and requirements.
• Knowledge of different types of sales and documentation.
• MS Word, Excel, Internet, PDF proficiency.
• SAP experience preferred.

Aufgaben

Responsibilities

• Reviewing all incoming letters of credit, including L/C drafts, for compliance and financial assessment to mitigate potential risks, especially related to confirmation, reimbursements and financial ratings.
• Co-ordination with overseas offices and banking team to ensure that risk mitigation policies are complied with and corrective actions are taken on an immediate basis or red-flags raised in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of Pre and Post shipment documentation
• Experience in scrutinizing of LC, BL and third party certificates.
• Preparation and checking of Final Documents.
• Coordinating with Freight Forwarders, Shipping line, Inspection agencies etc. located worldwide.
• Updating status in SAP/GTS/MIS

Required experience, skills and knowledge:

• Exposure to international trade, knowledge of shipping terms and documentation is essential
• Must have worked in an Export Company and well versed in Export Letters of Credit and document preparation & checking procedures for multiple countries.
• Must have knowledge of international ocean cargo process
• Expert and practical knowledge of LC Scrutiny, BL /Third Party Documents checking
• Must have knowledge of UCP 600 and ISBP
• Good Written and Verbal communication skills
• Exposure to banking operations and requirements, as required
• Knowledge and inputs on different types of sales and requisite documentation, presentation requirements
• Sound knowledge of MS word, Excel, Internet, PDF etc.
• Candidates with working knowledge of SAP will be given preference.

Required Education and other Qualifications:

• Graduate in any discipline
• Additional qualification in Import Export. 7+ years Experience in Export- Import Documentation in any Trading company/ Export House
