Job summary

CBRE in Chennai seeks an HSE professional to conduct routine safety inspections and audits across properties, identify hazards, and ensure timely closure of observations.

You will monitor regulatory compliance, implement PTW for high-risk activities, and ensure contractor safety requirements are met.

Also responsible for incident investigations, safety training, records maintenance, and coordination with tenants and authorities, supporting sustainability efforts.

• Monitor and enforce compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
• Implement and manage Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems for high-risk activities.
• Ensure adherence to contractor safety requirements and site safety regulations.
• Conduct incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Organize fire drills, emergency evacuation drills, and safety awareness programs.
• Inspect and monitor fire protection systems, emergency equipment, and emergency exits.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for employees and contractors.
• Maintain HSE records, statutory documents, audit reports, and compliance trackers.
• Coordinate with tenants, vendors, contractors, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters.
• Support sustainability initiatives related to waste management, energy conservation, and environmental compliance.
