CBRE Group, Inc. in Bengaluru is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Manager to develop and implement health, safety, and environmental programs for small to mid-size clients, while aligning with global CBRE standards.

You will lead the Environment Health and Safety function, drive local compliance, perform audits, deliver training, investigate incidents, and promote a proactive safety culture across facilities, waste management, and emergency preparedness.

Responsibilities

  • HSE Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and national safety regulations and standards
  • Maintain and update HSE documentation, permits, and statutory records
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of facilities and operations
  • Risk Assessment & Incident Management
  • Perform risk assessments for facility operations and recommend mitigation measures
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain incident logs and ensure timely reporting to authorities where required
  • Training & Awareness
  • Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and vendors
  • Conduct safety drills (fire, evacuation, emergency response) as per schedule
  • Promote a safety culture through awareness campaigns and toolbox talks
  • Operational Safety Oversight
  • Monitor compliance during maintenance, housekeeping, and technical operations
  • Ensure safe practices in electrical systems, HVAC, elevators, and other critical infrastructure
  • Oversee waste management and environmental sustainability initiatives
  • Emergency Preparedness
  • Maintain and test emergency response plans for fire, medical emergencies, and natural disasters
  • Ensure availability and readiness of firefighting equipment and PPE
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Prepare monthly HSE performance reports and share with management
  • Identify gaps and recommend improvements in safety processes and systems

About the Role:

As a CBRE Health, Safety and Environment Manager, you will be in charge of creating and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs for small to medium-sized clients.

This job is part of the Environment Health and Safety function. They are responsible for organizational programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities.
