Job summary

Shreepati Techno Services in Pune seeks a Purchase Engineer to manage monthly planning for purchasing, obtain supplier quotes, negotiate and place POs, and ensure timely delivery of materials.

You will implement supplier development for outsourced processes, monitor Plan vs Actual, and maintain ISO 9001-2015 documentation. 1–3 years’ experience in purchasing preferred; BE/DME is required.

Qualifications

• BE/DME with 1–3 years’ purchasing exp.
• Experience in purchasing for fabrication/machining sectors.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015 documentation and supplier evals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Monthly Planning Sheet for Purchasing as per Sales plan.
• Receive quotes/proposals, negotiate with suppliers, place POs, and track material receipt.
• Amend quotes per Sales requests.
• Identify suppliers for bought-out items and hardware per monthly schedule.
• Develop suppliers for outsourced processes (painting, coating, machining).
• Ensure 100% compliance with Plan vs Actual for outsourced processes.
• Measure supplier performance aligned to Sales and Production plans.
• Ensure documentation and systems conform to ISO 9001-2015.
• Ensure production requirements meet quality, quantity, and timeline.

Department : Purchase. Role & responsibilities

1Prepare the Monthly Planning Sheet for Purchasing dept as per Monthly Sales Plan

2Receipts of Quotes / Proposals & Negotoate with Suppliers & place PO and follow up with the Suppliers for timely receipt of material

3Amending Quotes as and when requested by Sales team.

4Identify the Suppliers for Bought out items & Purchase as per monthly Schedule

5Identify the Suppliers for Hardwares items & Purchase as per monthly Schedule

6Work closely with Sales team during New Order Finalization for providing the necessary Supplier Quotes

7New Supplier development for Outsourced Processes like Painting / Powder Coating / Machining

8100% Compliance ( Plan Vs Actual ) to the outsourced Processes like Painting / Shot Blasting / Powder Coating / Machining

9Measure the Supplier Performance in line with Sales Plan & Production Plan Requirements

10To ensure documentation & System works as per ISO 9001 - 2015

11Compliance to the Production Requirements considering the Quality / Quantity & Timeline.

12Continuous improvements in Supplier Cost / Quality / Timeline to stay competitive in the Market

Qualifications BE/DME

Age25 to 30 Years

Work Experience 1- 3 years.

Knowledge

• Bending, Punching, Plasma, Laser Cutting, Assembly, Machining Processes.
• Fabrication/ welding processes
• Shot Blasting / Painting /Powder coating processes / HDG.
• Engineering BOMs & Scope of Projects.
• Excellent Drawing reading, C of C , Fabrication & Machining for all projects and customers.
• Materials & Basic Metallurgy.
