Job summary

Hwashin Automotive in Talegaon Dabhade, Maharashtra, seeks a production supervisor with strong welding and assembly process knowledge. You will manage manpower, monitor welding quality, and drive improvements across the shop floor, coordinating with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to meet daily targets.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting weld defects, monitoring robot operations, and ensuring adherence to safety and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of automotive welding and assembly processes.
• Experience with Yaskawa robotic welding systems and program monitoring.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with 7 QC tools and basic root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Daily manpower planning, allocation, and handling for welding and assembly shop.
• Ensure daily production plan execution and achieve production targets.
• Monitor and reduce rework and rejection through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Analyze daily rework/rejection data and implement improvement actions.
• Identify and troubleshoot common welding defects (e.g., spatter, porosity, undercut, burn-through, lack of fusion, improper weld position).
• Working knowledge of Yaskawa robotic welding systems, including basic robot operation, program monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor welding parameters, fixture conditions, and process adherence.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams for resolving shop-floor issues.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity, quality, and line efficiency.
• Maintain daily production, manpower, rework, rejection, and process-related reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and SOPs.
