Job summary

CIE Automotive India Ltd, Stampings Division, Kanhe, Pune is seeking an Executive/Senior Executive for Assembly Weld Shop Production to execute daily production plans, monitor welding operations, and ensure adherence to process parameters and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on BIW welding, experience with ABB, Yaskawa, and KUKA robotic welding cells, and the ability to lead teams, troubleshoot defects, and participate in continuous improvement and TPM/5S/ISO compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Automotive BIW sheet metal weld shop - SPOT, MIG and projection welding.
• Experience with ABB, YASKAWA, KUKA and Panasonic robotic welding lines.
• Welding process parameters adherence and quality awareness.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily production plans and achieve targeted output.

• Manage and monitor Welding operations
• Adherence to welding process parameters, quality standards
• Troubleshoot welding defects, robot issues, fixture problems and process abnormalities
• Monitor and improve OEE, line efficiency and cycle time
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement CAPA for quality concerns
• Ensure compliance with 5S, TPM, Lean manufacturing and IATF ISO requirements

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of BIW Welding Processes
• Hands-on experience with ABB, Yaskawa & Kuka robotic welding cells
• Good leadership and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in shifts
• Experience automation and continuous improvement projects
