Job summary

Sharda Motor Industries Ltd. is seeking a capable line supervisor to oversee daily automotive production activities on the shop floor.

The role involves ensuring timely execution of the production plan, managing manpower, and maintaining line readiness with material, safety and quality controls. The successful candidate will guide operators, handle minor machine adjustments, and sustain TPM/5S practices while coordinating with maintenance and quality teams to minimize rework and rejection.

Qualifications

• DME/BE with 3–6 years in automobile industries.
• Experience with TPM/MSES/QMS and line supervision.
• Hands-on production supervision and safety adherence.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to daily Production plan
• Effective Manpower utilisation to achieve daily production target
• Ensure material availability on line
• Highlighting concerns related to Material / manpower/machine
• To achieve Quality and Quantity of Production of line
• To minimize rework / rejection on line
• Guide / operate machines online when required
• To do Minor machine breakdown / sets as per plan
• To maintain and sustain line 5S/TPM activities
• Ensure proper PPE usages by line operators
• Ensure operators are adhering to SOPs wrt start up, first piece flow inspection etc
• To educate / train / guide operators wrt safety/quality requirements of line
• To support in implementation of TPM & MSES “A” activities
• Any other task entrusted by yourseniors

Qualifications – DME/BE
