Job summary

Würth Elektronik India, a leading PCB and PCB-based solutions provider, seeks a (Senior) Engineer PCB Design in Bengaluru. You will drive end-to-end PCB design, from concept to fabrication, ensuring electrical, mechanical and manufacturing compliance.

Join a team delivering high-speed interfaces and production-ready documentation, using Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, with collaboration across hardware, mechanical and manufacturing functions.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communications or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Hands-on expertise in Altium Designer and Cadence (Allegro/OrCAD).
• Knowledge of high-speed routing, stack-up design, PCB manufacturing, EMC/EMI, and signal integrity.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end PCB Design: multilayer, high-speed and mixed-signal PCBs from concept to fabrication.
• Create schematics, footprints, and libraries; perform DRC/ERC checks and resolve layout issues.
• Design high-speed interfaces (DDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, HDMI, etc.).
• Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams; participate in DFx reviews.
• Produce fabrication and assembly docs (Gerber, ODB++, BoM, drawings) per IPC standards.

What to expect

• End-to-end PCB Design: Develop multilayer, high-speed, and mixed-signal PCBs from concept to fabrication, ensuring electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing compliance
• Tool expertise: Create schematics, footprints, and libraries using Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, perform DRC/ERC checks and resolve layout issues
• High-speed interface design: Execute constraint-driven layouts for DDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, HDMI, and other critical interfaces
• Collaboration and reviews: Work closely with hardware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams and actively participate in design and DFx reviews (DFM/DFA/DFT)
• Production-ready deliverables: Generate fabrication and assembly documentation (Gerber, ODB++, BoM, assembly drawings) while ensuring adherence to IPC standards

What you bring

• Basics: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communications or Electrical & Electronics Engineering, with 3–6 years of proven PCB design experience
• Knowledge: Hands-on expertise in Altium Designer and Cadence (Allegro/OrCAD), high- speed routing, stack-up design, and understanding of PCB manufacturing, assembly, EMC/EMI, and signal integrity principles
• Passion: Drive for designing reliable, high-performance, and production-ready PCBs that push the boundaries of modern electronics
• Communication: Good English language skills
• Strengths: Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of balancing electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing requirements to deliver top-quality designs
