Job summary

Idexcel is seeking a PCB Design Engineer in Pune with 7+ years of hands-on experience in Altium Designer to develop high-performance PCB layouts for power electronic and high-speed applications.

Responsibilities include multilayer design, EMI/EMC practices, controlled impedance routing, and collaboration with fabrication vendors. BE/B.Tech in related fields required; immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• Be/ B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation or related discipline
• Altium Designer expertise essential for 2-16 layer PCB layouts
• High-speed and power electronics PCB design experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and develop 2-layer to 16-layer PCB layouts using Altium Designer and Xpedition at Pune location
• Create and maintain PCB footprints, schematic symbols, and component libraries following IPC standards
• Perform component placement considering thermal, electrical, mechanical, and manufacturability requirements
• Design high-current and high-voltage PCBs with proper creepage and clearance requirements
• Layout power electronics circuits such as: AC/DC Power Supplies, DC/DC Converters, Motor Drives, Battery Charging Systems, LED Drivers and Inverters and Power Control Boards
• Implement EMI/EMC design practices during placement and routing
• Perform controlled impedance routing and differential pair routing where required
• Multilayer PCB Design, High Current & High Voltage Layouts, Mixed Signal PCB Design, Thermal Management Techniques, Copper Pour Optimization and HDI, Blind/Buried Vias
• Generate manufacturing outputs including: ODB++, IPC-2581, Assembly Drawings, Fabrication Drawings, Pick & Place Files, BOM Documentation
• Conduct design reviews and resolve DFM, DFA, and DFT issues
• Work with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors for successful product realization
• Manage ECOs and design revisions throughout the product lifecycle

Job Description

PCB Designer with 6+ years of hands‑on experience in Altium Designer to develop high-performance PCB layouts for power electronic and high Speed applications.

Expertise in multilayer PCB design, power supply layouts, DC-DC converters, AC-DC converters, motor control systems, LED drivers, battery management systems, and mixed‑signal designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop 2-layer to 16-layer PCB layouts using Altium Designer and Xpedition at Pune location.
