Job summary

Linde South Asia Services Pvt. Ltd. in Vapi, Gujarat, India, seeks a Senior Engineer – Operations and Maintenance to ensure safety and reliability of plant operations and continuous product supplies.

The role requires hands-on field work, daily routine duties, and close coordination with reliability teams. The incumbent will manage field maintenance, calibration of analyzers, vendor interactions, and SAP/SRM-based procurement, with readiness to relocate for commissioning and maintenance

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer in mechanical engineering with 7–8 years' experience in ASU.
• ASU plant commissioning experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily field routine jobs and inspect mechanical, instrumentation and electrical issues.
• Raise issues to reliability team during abnormalities and take corrective actions.
• Update in EAM book and report in LiDAP.
• Oversee day-to-day plant operation, production and preparation of DPR.
• Lead field maintenance activities, assess hazards, purge if needed, mark lines in P&ID and maintain LOTO after PTW and zero energy checks.
• Ensure understanding of SWD, SLD and equipment drawings.
• Calibrate and record PT, FT and gas analyzers; manage vendors.
• Handle spare procurement; work with SAP and SRM.
• Maintain all safety standards and relocate to other sites if required for commissioning or maintenance.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• In this role, you will be responsible for participating in daily field routine jobs and inspection of mechanical, instrumentation and electrical issue
• Also, during any abnormalities highlight the issue with reliability team and take corrective actions
• Updating in EAM book & reporting in LiDAP
• Further, you will be responsible for day-to-day plant operation, production, preparation of DPR etc
• Furthermore, you will be responsible for any maintenance activities in the field, discussed with the maintenance people, identify the hazard related to that job, purging (if required), marking that line / equipment’s in P&ID, maintaining LOTO system for isolation after zero energy verification and then after PTW issued
• You will be able to clear understanding with SWD, SLD, equipment specific drawing etc
• Moreover, you will be responsible of different PT, FT and gas analyzer calibration and record keeping
• Additionally, you will be responsible for vendor management
• In this role you will be responsible for spare procurement. Handling of SAP and SRM
• Further you will be responsible for maintaining all safety standards
• You will be ready to relocate to any other site to support during commissioning, maintenance etc

• You have a graduate Engineer in Mechanical Engineering with seven to eight (7-8) years’ experience with experience in ASU
• ASU plant commissioning experience unit is required
