Job summary

Linde Global Support Services Pvt. Ltd is seeking a Senior Specialist to own design, development, testing, deployment, and operations for Java/Spring backend and React frontend.

The role focuses on delivering new business capabilities while improving performance and reliability in a cloud-enabled environment. You will contribute to modernization efforts of a large legacy Java monolith, drive technical debt reduction, and participate in architecture reviews and CI/CD implementation.

Qualifications

• 7-8+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience with large, established codebases
• Experience modernizing/refactoring/migrating enterprise systems
• Experience with automated testing (unit, integration) and CI/CD tooling
• Degree or equivalent from a reputed institute
• Strong SQL skills with MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Strong proficiency in Java (8–21) with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support of complex features across Java/Spring backend and React frontend
• Deliver new business capabilities while improving maintainability, performance, and reliability
• Design and implement scalable APIs, integrations, and service-oriented solutions
• Troubleshoot complex issues across application, infrastructure, integration, and database layers
• Contribute to modernization of a large legacy Java monolith using incremental migration patterns
• Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve architecture and code quality
• Participate in design discussions, architecture reviews, and implementation planning
• Drive adoption of engineering best practices, testing, and secure development
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Support cloud-native deployments on Azure and/or AWS
• Participate in monitoring, observability, incident management, and RCA activities
• Improve system reliability, scalability, and operational readiness

• Also, identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve architecture, code quality, and operational efficiency.
• And participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and implementation planning.
• Drive adoption of engineering best practices, coding standards, automated testing, and secure development practices.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Also, support cloud-native deployments on Azure and/or AWS.
• And participate in monitoring, observability, incident management, and root cause analysis activities.
• Lastly, contribute to improving system reliability, scalability, and operational readiness.

Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?

• The Senior Specialist in this role must have experience supporting production applications, including incident investigation, performance troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and operational support responsibilities.
• 7-8+ years of professional software development experience building and supporting enterprise applications is a must
• Also, proven experience working within large, established codebases rather than exclusively greenfield applications.
• You should have experience modernizing, refactoring, or migrating existing enterprise systems while maintaining production operations.
• Moreover, experience working on large-scale enterprise application modernization initiatives where both ongoing business enhancements and production support responsibilities were maintained throughout the transformation.
• Also, experience with automated testing (unit, integration) and CI/CD tooling.
• Must is a degree or equivalent from a reputed institute
• And solid SQL skills and experience with both MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Lastly, strong proficiency in Java (8–21) with practical knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
