Job summary

Linde India Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer Mechanical to oversee site operations, maintenance, safety and reliability of plant equipment and ensure uninterrupted product supplies at the Hosapete site.

The role requires handling preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, RCA analyses, and coordination with operations, engineering teams, vendors and contractors to drive reliability improvements while adhering to safety standards and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• Experience in process plants, preferably air separation units, petrochemicals or cryogenic industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, routine and breakdown maintenance of compressors, pumps, turbines, heat exchangers, and storage systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive equipment reliability improvements.
• Support installation, commissioning, startup, shutdowns and major overhaul activities.
• Ensure safe operation and maintenance of cryogenic systems, pipelines and storage vessels; comply with safety standards and risk assessments.
• Maintain maintenance records, schedules, work orders and reliability KPIs through SAP/CMMS.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering teams, vendors and contractors to ensure plant reliability.

• In this role you will perform preventive, predictive, routine, and breakdown maintenance of compressors, pumps, turbines, heat exchangers, and storage systems
• Further you will troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement effective corrective and preventive actions
• Additionally, you will conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive equipment reliability improvement initiatives
• Supporting installation, commissioning, startup, shutdowns, and major overhaul activities is a part of your responsibility
• Furthermore, you will ensure safe operation and maintenance of cryogenic systems, pipelines, and storage vessels and comply with safety standards, HAZOP, PTW, LOTO, risk assessments, and statutory requirements
• Likewise, you will maintain maintenance records, schedules, work orders, and reliability KPIs through SAP/CMMS systems
• Moreover, you will coordinate with operations, engineering teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure plant reliability and continuous improvement

• You have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with three to six (3-6) years of experience in process plants, preferably in Air separation unit, petrochemical, or cryogenic industries
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving are required in this role
• Adaptability to shift operations and high-pressure environments
