Job summary

Linde South Asia Services Pvt. Ltd. in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, is seeking a Manager Metal & Glass - Application Technology Sales to promote Oxygen-based combustion systems across metal and glass industries.

The role focuses on identifying customers, delivering technical solutions, and driving bulk sales growth. You will lead market surveys, evaluate technical and commercial proposals, coordinate with the sales team, and support project installation, commissioning, safety audits, and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in metallurgical engineering with 7+ years of relevant industrial experience.
• Experience in steel mills, glass, and other target industries.
• Strong technical and commercial proposal capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation, market survey and identifying potential customers for oxygen-based systems in Iron & Steel, Aluminum, Copper, Zinc, Lead, Glass, Cement.
• Collect data, technical evaluation, techno-commercial proposal preparation, coordination with sales and follow up with customer for closure.
• Equipment selection and design criteria for the AT project.
• Participating in project installation, commissioning, safety audit, process optimization, training and handover.
• Engage with customer to provide value-added solutions and achieve sign up and start up targets.
• Work under minimal supervision with guidance only in the most complex situations.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• In this role, you will be responsible for lead generation, market survey and identifying potential customers for the Oxygen-based combustion system conversion in various industrial furnaces and process such as Iron & Steel, Aluminum, Copper, Zinc, Lead, Glass, Cement etc


• Further, you will be responsible for data collection, technical evaluation, techno commercial proposal preparation, coordination with sales team and follow up with customer for the closure


• Additionally, you will be responsible for equipment selection and design criteria for the AT project


• Actively participating in project installation, commissioning, safety audit, process optimization, training and handing over and maintain the customer is a part of your responsibility


• Furthermore, you will continually engage with customer and provide value added solutions and consistently achieve sign up and start up targets


• Moreover, you will work under minimal supervision with guidance only in the most complex situations

Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?

• You have bachelor’s or master’s degree in metallurgical with over seven (7+) years of relevant industrial experience working in or with one or more of the target industries i.e. Integrated steel mills (Blast Furnace operation, Steel Melt Shop, Rolling Mills etc.), primary non-ferrous and glass industries
