Job summary

Flex in Sriperumbudur is seeking a Senior Engineer – NPI to drive new product introductions from concept to launch. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with customers on-site during audits, and develop robust project plans to ensure timely product launches.

The role emphasizes NPI expertise, product and project management skills, and ECO/ECN/ECR knowledge, with a focus on production readiness and seamless transitions into manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
• 6+ years of experience are typically required.
• Strong experience in New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Experience in Product and Project management.
• Knowledge in ECO/ECN/ECR procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage New Product Introductions (NPI) projects from kickoff to launch.
• Single point of contact with customers and on-site during audits.
• Design project plans and share with customers for clear visibility of launches.
• Schedule kickoff meetings to ensure on-time product launches.
• Oversee new product implementation in the production line.
• Develop product build plans and execute production per process instructions.
• Coordinate with program teams to develop schedules and quotes.
• Create and maintain build processes; coordinate builds for release and resolve issues with design.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Engineer – NPI located in Sriperumbudur

What a typical day looks like:

• Project management of new product introductions (NPI).
• Experience Single point of contact with the customers & handling the customers on-site for audit.
• Design the project plan and share it with the customer for better visibility of product launch with challenges
• Schedule the Kick-off meeting for on-time Product launch.
• Responsible for the new product implementation in production line.
• Develop product build plans and perform production according to manufacturing process instructions.
• Coordinate with program teams to develop the new product schedule & quote.
• Creates/maintains build processes, coordinates product builds for release into production, prioritizes failures and works with design to resolve issues

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
• Typically requires 6+years of experience
• Strong Experience in New product Introduction.

• Experience in Product and Project management skills.
• Knowledge in ECO/ECN/ECR procedure
