Job summary

Flex is a global leader in diverse manufacturing, seeking a Junior Engineer – NPI for Sriperumbudur. The role focuses on managing NPIs, coordinating project plans, and acting as the customer liaison on-site to support audits and product launches.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field and about 3 years of experience, with solid NPI, project management, and ECO/ECN/ECR exposure. The position is onsite in Sriperumbudur, with medical insurance and PTO benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically 3 years of experience in the field.
• Strong experience in New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Experience in product and project management.
• Knowledge of ECO/ECN/ECR procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage NPIs and coordinate project plans.
• Serve as single point of contact with customers and on-site for audits.
• Design project plans and share with customers for visibility of launches.
• Schedule Kick-off meetings to ensure on-time product launches.
• Develop build plans and perform production per process instructions.
• Coordinate with program teams for schedules and quotes.

What a typical day looks like:

• Project management of new product introductions (NPI).
• Experience Single point of contact with the customers & handling the customers on-site for audit.
• Design the project plan and share it with the customer for better visibility of product launch with challenges.
• Schedule the Kick-off meeting for on-time Product launch.
• Responsible for the new product implementation in production line.
• Develop product build plans and perform production according to manufacturing process instructions.
• Coordinate with program teams to develop the new product schedule & quote.
• Creates/maintains build processes, coordinates product builds for release into production, prioritizes failures and works with design to resolve issues.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
• Typically requires 3 years of experience
• Strong Experience in New product Introduction.
• Experience in Product and Project management skills.
• Knowledge in ECO/ECN/ECR procedure
