Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu. We are seeking a Junior Engineer – NPI to support new product introductions and coordinate production launch activities on-site.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and about 3 years of experience in NPI, product and project management. Knowledge of ECO/ECN/ECR processes is desirable, with medical insurance and PTO benefits provided.

• Strong Experience in New product Introduction.
• Experience in Product and Project management skills.
• Knowledge in ECO/ECN/ECR procedure

Responsibilities

• Project management of new product introductions (NPI).
• Single point of contact with customers & handling customers on-site for audit.
• Design the project plan and share it with the customer for better visibility of product launch with challenges
• Schedule the Kick-off meeting for on-time Product launch.
• Responsible for the new product implementation in production line.
• Develop product build plans and perform production according to manufacturing process instructions.
• Coordinate with program teams to develop the new product schedule & quote.
• Create/maintain build processes, coordinate product builds for release into production, prioritize failures and work with design to resolve issues

What a typical day looks like:

• Project management of new product introductions (NPI).
