Job summary

Linde India is seeking a Manager Metal & Glass to promote Oxygen-based combustion systems for the Metal & Glass segment. The role focuses on identifying and converting potential customers, providing value-added technical solutions, and driving bulk sales growth across the country.

The candidate will lead data collection, technical evaluation, and techno-commercial proposals, while coordinating with the sales team and managing customer follow-ups to closures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Metallurgy.
• 7+ years of relevant industrial experience in target industries (Integrated steel mills, primary non-ferrous, glass).
• Experience in lead generation, market survey and identifying potential customers is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation, market survey and identifying potential customers for Oxygen-based combustion system conversion in various industries.
• Data collection, technical evaluation, techno-commercial proposal preparation, coordination with sales and follow-up with customers.
• Equipment selection and design criteria for AT projects; participate in installation, commissioning, safety audits, process optimization and handover.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• In this role, you will be responsible for lead generation, market survey and identifying potential customers for the Oxygen-based combustion system conversion in various industrial furnaces and process such as Iron & Steel, Aluminum, Copper, Zinc, Lead, Glass, Cement etc
• Further, you will be responsible for data collection, technical evaluation, techno commercial proposal preparation, coordination with sales team and follow up with customer for the closure
• Additionally, you will be responsible for equipment selection and design criteria for the AT project
• Actively participating in project installation, commissioning, safety audit, process optimization, training and handing over and maintain the customer is a part of your responsibility
• Furthermore, you will continually engage with customer and provide value added solutions and consistently achieve sign up and start up targets
• Moreover, you will work under minimal supervision with guidance only in the most complex situations

Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?

• You have bachelor’s or master’s degree in metallurgical with over seven (7+) years of relevant industrial experience working in or with one or more of the target industries i.e. Integrated steel mills (Blast Furnace operation, Steel Melt Shop, Rolling Mills etc.), primary non-ferrous and glass industries
