  • Coordinate with consumers, market participants, SLDCs, RLDCs, and other stakeholders.
  • Track central and state electricity regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare MIS reports and provide operational insights to management.

Job Description

The role involves managing round-the-clock power trading operations, executing transactions across multiple power market platforms, optimizing the generation portfolio for revenue maximization, and ensuring compliance with central and state regulations. The incumbent will coordinate with multiple stakeholders to support efficient and compliant power trading activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage round-the-clock shift operations for power trading and market operations activities. Handle registration and compliance on NOAR, Power Exchanges, REC Registry, and other relevant central and state agency portals.
  • Submit bids across various power market segments such as DAM, RTM, TAM, and other applicable markets.
  • Support generation portfolio optimization to maximize revenue through effective market participation.
  • Analyze power market trends related to prices, volumes, and market participants across different segments.
  • Assess power demand and supply scenarios at national and state levels.
  • Coordinate with consumers, market participants, SLDCs, RLDCs, and other stakeholders for power transactions and sale opportunities.
  • Track and analyze central and state electricity regulations, ensuring operational compliance and awareness of regulatory changes.
  • Prepare MIS reports and provide operational insights to management.
