Job summary

ReNew is seeking a Senior Manager - Contracts and Commercial - Wind EPC in Gurgaon, with 10 to 15 years of post-qualification experience. The role focuses on finalizing BOP and LPA scope, negotiating contracts with suppliers, and driving cost optimization across wind EPC projects.

You will work with construction, projects, engineering and development teams, manage vendor relationships, and ensure contracts meet deliverables while aligning with ReNew's values and growth in India's renewable

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience: at least 8-10 years of post-qualification work experience, preference for OEMs/IPP in similar role.
• Strong negotiation and contract drafting abilities.
• Exposure to wind EPC/BOP contracts and vendor negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Finalize division of responsibility for BOP and LPA scope in collaboration with developers and contractors.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers, vendors, and contractors for wind EPC BOP works.
• Focus on cost optimization to keep BOP costs competitive.
• Draft, negotiate and finalize large wind EPC contracts for BOP works (civil, electrical).
• Monitor contractual terms and ensure deliverables are met.
• Lead the contracting process for full-scope land and BOP work.
• Collaborate with construction, projects, engineering and development teams on contract scope.
• Develop vendor evaluation and SWOT analyses to inform negotiations.
• Support cost optimization and timely delivery through contract strategy.

Job Description

Role - Senior Manager - Contracts and Commercial - Wind EPC

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Civil / Electrical/ Mechanical) + MBA in marketing/ supply chain management/ operations will be an added advantage.

Experience: 10 to 15 Years

Location - Gurgaon

Key Responsibilites :-

• Capable of discussion and finalization of Division of responsibility for the BOP and LPA scope of work, TCI scope of work to finalise the same with developer, contractor and Service provider.
• Responsible for the discussion, negotiation on the commercials and finalization of various contracts with supplier, vendor and contractor for the BOP works for the Wind Projects.
• He will be focusing on how to optimize the overall BOP cost to become competitive in the market.
• Drafting, negotiating and finalizing large scale wind EPC contracts for BOP Work (civil, Electrical etc).
• Monitor the contractual terms and conditions and ensure contractual deliverables are met.
• Lead the Contracting process for full scope contracting for land, BOP Work.
• Work closely with construction, projects, engineering and development teams to ensure all scope of work is captured properly and articulated fully in the contract.
• Vendor development and critical evaluation i.e. analysing vendors strength and weakness for the negotiation.
• Creating a master details of full scope offering developers / contractors details – SWOT analysis.
• Helping team for cost optimization and timely delivery.
• Manage & maintain relationships with vendors, manufacturers and suppliers, to the extent it is required.
• Keeping track for the development in commodity market (construction material) for cost analysis and better negotiation, to optimise the cost.
• Competitors strategy towards EPC / self-development and their strengths.

Qualification and Experience -

1. Minimum Experience: at least 8-10 years of relevant post-qualification work experience, preference for profile worked with OEMs/ IPP in the similar role and profile.
