Job summary

AP Management Consultants is seeking an Electrical & Electronics Engineer to ensure uninterrupted operation of industrial machines through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and system improvements. The role requires strong PLC programming (Siemens/Mitsubishi/Allen Bradley/Omron) and CNC maintenance expertise in an industrial setting.

The candidate will work on electrical panels, VFDs, MCCs, automation systems and safety compliance, coordinating with OEMs for major repairs.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE in Electrical, Electronics, EEE or Mechatronics is required.
• Strong ladder logic PLC programming skills and hardware knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with HMI tools such as WinCC, GT Designer, FactoryTalk.
• Proficient in CNC troubleshooting for Fanuc/Siemens controllers.
• Familiarity with servo systems, VFDs, sensors and industrial communications (Modbus/Profibus/Ethernet/IP).
• Able to read electrical/pneumatic schematics and document work.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC programs for multiple PLC brands.
• Configure and troubleshoot HMI/SCADA screens and interfaces.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, VFDs, servos and comms modules.
• Perform logic corrections and cycle time optimizations; maintain backups.
• Troubleshoot CNC machines (Fanuc/Siemens) and perform calibration.
• Read drawings, perform preventive maintenance and document actions.
• Coordinate with OEMs for major repairs and RCA analysis with 5 Why/ Fishbone methods.

• The Electrical & Electronics Engineer will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted

• programming, CNC machine maintenance, electrical systems, and automation
• troubleshooting.
• Key Responsibilities
• A.SPM, Hydraulic, CNC, PLC, HMI & Automation
• - Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC programs (Siemens/Mitsubishi/Allen Bradley/Omron).
• - Configure and troubleshoot HMI/SCADA screens.
• - Integrate sensors, actuators, VFDs, servos, and communication modules.
• - Perform logic corrections and cycletime optimization.
• - Maintain backups and documentation for automation programs.
• B. CNC Machine Maintenance
• - Troubleshoot CNC machines (Fanuc / Siemens ).
• - Diagnose servo drives, spindle drives, encoders, hydraulics, tool changers.
• - Conduct calibration and parameter settings.
• - Perform breakdown analysis and corrective actions.
• - Coordinate with OEM for major repairs.
• C. Electrical Maintenance
• - Troubleshoot electrical panels, VFD, MCCs, control circuits.
• - Diagnose relays, contactors, SMPS, PLC I/O modules.
• - Read electrical drawings (AutoCAD/Eplan).
• - Ensure safety compliance.
• D. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
• - Prepare and execute PM schedules for Hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC and PLC equipment.
• - Perform condition monitoring.
• - Maintain spare inventory.
• E. Continuous Improvement
• - Improve machine uptime using Kaizen/TPM.
• - Identify automation opportunities.
• - Execute RCA using 5 Why, Fishbone, DMAIC.
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• - Diploma/BE in Electrical, Electronics, EEE, Mechatronics.
• - Strong PLC programming skills (Ladder).
• - Experience with HMI tools (WinCC, GT Designer, FactoryTalk).
• - Expertise in CNC troubleshooting (Fanuc, Siemens).
• - Knowledge of servo systems, VFDs, sensors, Modbus/Profibus/Ethernet/IP.
• - Ability to read electrical/pneumatic schematics.
• - Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Preferred Experience
• - Knowledge of SCADA systems.
• - Robot maintenance experience (Fanuc/ABB/Yaskawa).
• - Machine retrofitting and automation project experience.
• - Basic Industry 4.0 and IIoT knowledge.
