Job summary

Finolex J Power Systems (FJPS) is seeking a skilled Tender Bidding Specialist to manage end-to-end bidding for central and state power utilities, PSUs, and EPCs. You will identify opportunities, review documents, and prepare competitive offers.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Design, Project, and Finance teams to ensure accurate technical and cost bid submissions, handle pre-bid queries, and participate in reverse auctions when applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in tender bidding for Central/State utilities, PSUs, EPCs.
• Ability to review tender documents and submit timely pre-bid queries.
• Coordinate with Finance, Design, Purchase, Project teams for bid qualification.
• Analyze technical specs and develop competitive tender offers.

Responsibilities

• Handle entire tender bidding process (online/offline) for power utilities and EPCs.
• Search and identify tender opportunities from power utility customers.
• Review tender docs and submit pre-bid queries on time.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design and Project teams for optimum solutions.
• Coordinate with Finance, Design, Purchase, Project and Quality for bid documents.
• Manage tender documents, EMDs, and bid submissions.
• Prepare cost analysis and pricing for tenders, set cost targets.
• Ensure completeness of technical and price bids.
• Track tender status and results.
• Respond to post-bid queries and clarifications promptly.
• participate in reverse auctions.
• Prepare offers/quotations for private/EPC customers.
• Handle RFQs and enquiries with customers/Sales for clarifications.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Responsible for handling the entire Tender Bidding Process on Online and Offline for Central & State Power Utility boards, PSUs, EPCs etc.

- Responsible for searching Tender biding opportunity from various Power Utility Customer

- Review/Scrutiny of tender documents and submitting pre-bid queries well in time to customer.

- Analyzing the technical specification and Technical Offer evaluation, vendor drawing review, etc., discuss with Engineering & Design Dept. and Project Dept. for the Optimum solution and drive the tender.

- Co-ordination with internal functional departments like Finance, Design, Purchase, Project, Quality for respective department documents required for Bid qualification.

- Timely purchasing Tender documents and issuing of EMD documents.

- Collecting offers/quotations for Bought out items and Erection/Civil Works from Purchase dept./Vendors/Contractors.

- Preparation of Cost Analysis and pricing for Project, set Cost targets for Estimation, review tender cost, internal, and bought out costs for tender.

- Ensure correctness & completeness of all technical and price bid.

- Keeping Trak and maintaining record of Tender status/opening results

- Responding to customer Post-bid queries/clarifications well in time.

- Participation in Reverse Auctions

- Responsible for offers/quotations for Private/EPC customer

- Enquiries/RFQs, co-ordination with customers/ Sales representative for clarifications on enquiries/RFQs
