Job summary

Enerparc Energy India is seeking an O&M Engineer to ensure maximum plant uptime, efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards across rooftop and ground-mount solar projects. You will monitor data, troubleshoot performance issues, coordinate with analytics and vendors, and supervise technicians during maintenance, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

The role requires a B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics or Renewable Energy, 3–5 years in

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering or Renewable Energy.
• 3 to 5 years in solar PV, preferably in O&M.
• Strong analytical/coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to resolve site-related technical issues and coordinate with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of solar PV plants (rooftop/utility-scale) as per the schedule.

Job Summary

O&M Engineer – will be responsible for ensuring maximum plant uptime, efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards for Enerparc India’s rooftop and ground mount projects. The role includes managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing solar PV plant performance. The position demands strong analytical/coordination skills, electrical engineering fundamentals, and an understanding of the Solar PV operations. Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, and protection systems.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Data Monitoring of projects allocated with familiarity with SCADA, data monitoring platforms and diagnostic tools along with understanding of electrical safety standards and grid regulations.
• Oversee daily operations of solar PV plants (rooftop/utility-scale) as per the schedule
• Identify and resolve performance issues to maximize generation.
• Maintaining Breakdown sheet, customer complaint register, module cleaning sheet for Data Analytics
• Coordination with analytics team for tracking KPI like PR, Plant availability and Generation guarantee
• Maintain all records of Vendors, handling their queries, invoice submission
• Follow up with customers for payment collection
• O&M audit before project handover and share punch points
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and performance logs.
• Supervise technicians and contractors during maintenance activities.
• Update Customer complaint registers daily and track closure as per the target date mentioned
• IMS adherence for projects
• Creation of tracker for failures of Inverter, sensor, modules, any equipment etc – weekly update
• Spares management and inventory tracking
• Diagnose faults in electrical and mechanical systems and plan ahead
• Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for technical support and warranty claims and advance planning on extended warranty for equipments.
• Identification of Low performance sites and improvement of the same by doing detailed RCA
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely replacements and perform routine inspections and testing of electrical equipment.
• Plan preventive and corrective maintenance of solar modules, inverters, transformers, and switchgear

Requirements

• Education: B.E./B. Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering or Renewable Energy.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in solar PV, preferably in O&M.

• Strong ability to resolve all site related technical issues as per the targets.
