Job summary

Enerparc India seeks an O&M Engineer to maximize uptime, efficiency and safety of rooftop and ground mount solar projects. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with contractors and vendors to maintain compliance with standards.

The role requires strong electrical engineering fundamentals, hands-on site experience, data analysis, and clear communication in English/Hindi. Travel to project sites in Gujarat/India as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy.
• Experience: 3–5 years in solar PV, preferably in O&M.
• Technical coordination/report writing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ability to resolve site related technical issues per targets.

Responsibilities

• Technical analysis & support including data monitoring with SCADA and diagnostic tools.
• Oversee daily operations of solar PV plants (Ground mount/utility-scale) per schedule.
• Identify and resolve performance issues to maximize generation.
• Maintain records of vendors, invoices, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for technical support and warranty claims.
• Plan preventive and corrective maintenance for modules, inverters, transformers, and switchgear.

Job description

O&M Engineer – will be responsible for ensuring maximum plant uptime, efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards for Enerparc India’s rooftop and ground mount projects. The role includes managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing solar PV plant performance. The position demands strong analytical/coordination skills, electrical engineering fundamentals, and an understanding of the Solar PV operations. Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, and protection systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Technical analysis & support
  • Data Monitoring of projects allocated with familiarity with SCADA, data monitoring platforms and diagnostic tools along with understanding of electrical safety standards and grid regulations.
  • Oversee daily operations of solar PV plants (Ground mount/utility-scale) as per the schedule
  • Identify and resolve performance issues to maximize generation.
• Analytical
  • Maintaining Breakdown sheet, customer complaint register, module cleaning sheet for Data Analytics
  • Coordination with analytics team for tracking KPI like PR, Plant availability and Generation guarantee
• Documentation
  • Maintain all records of Vendors, handling their queries, invoice submission
  • Follow up with customers for payment collection
  • O&M audit before project handover and share punch points
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and performance logs.
  • Supervise technicians and contractors during maintenance activities.
• Process improvements
  • Update Customer complaint registers daily and track closure as per the target date mentioned
  • IMS adherence for projects
  • Creation of tracker for failures of Inverter, sensor, modules, any equipment etc – weekly update
  • Spares management and inventory tracking
  • Diagnose faults in electrical and mechanical systems and plan ahead
  • Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for technical support and warranty claims and advance planning on extended warranty for equipment.
• Plant performance improvement
  • Identification of Low performance sites and improvement of the same by doing detailed RCA
  • Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely replacements and perform routine inspections and testing of electrical equipment.
  • Plan preventive and corrective maintenance of solar modules, inverters, transformers, and switchgear

Requirements

• Education: B.E./B. Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering or Renewable Energy.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in solar PV, preferably in O&M.
• Technical coordination/report writing
