Job summary

SolutionBox Insight Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced O&M Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of solar power plants, ensuring high performance and minimal downtime.

The ideal candidate has 1–4 years of solar/O&M experience, knowledge of solar power systems and safety norms, and a willingness to travel to project sites. Diploma/BE/BTech in Electrical/Electronics/Renewable Energy is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy.
• 1–4 years in solar or electrical O&M.
• Knowledge of solar power systems and safety norms.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to project sites.
• Valid driving license (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform regular O&M activities for solar PV systems (rooftop or ground-mounted).
• Monitor system performance via SCADA/remote monitoring tools.
• Conduct fault diagnosis and implement corrective actions quickly.
• Maintain logs, reports, and maintenance records.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and ensure system uptime.
• Perform site inspections and ensure cleanliness of panels and equipment.
• Ensure site safety compliance and conduct periodic electrical audits.
• Liaise with vendors and OEMs for support and spare management.
• Assist in the commissioning and performance testing of new sites.
