Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, electronics or industrial engineering (or equivalent).
• 4-7 years of experience in plant/facility maintenance, preferably Solar Cell manufacturing or process industries.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques, TPM, and root cause analysis.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs and automation systems.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for all critical equipment in Solar Cell manufacturing.
• Oversee maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Fill MIS reports with breakdown details, preventive maintenance, and spare parts data.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives—cost reduction and equipment upgrades.
• Manage spare parts inventory and report stock levels to the manager.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians to uphold safety and technical excellence.

Job Description

As a Senior Engineer – Maintenance, you will be the guardian of our machinery and infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure minimal downtime, maximum efficiency, and uncompromising safety.

Qualifications / Personal Attributes

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent),4-7 years of experience in plant/facility maintenance, preferably Solar Cell manufacturing or process industries.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques, TPM, and root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Sound knowledge on Solar Cell Process of Both Perc and Topcon Technology.
• Lead and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for all critical equipment .
• Fill Up the report of MIS (Breakdown details , Preventive Maintenance and Spare parts maintain ).
• Troubleshoot any types of problem like mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives—cost reduction, and equipment upgrades.(implementation of Kaizen for reducing the breakdown or improve the machine life).
• Manage spare parts inventory and timely reporting to manager if spare parts minimum stock qty are not maintain .
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of safety and technical excellence.
