Job summary

Loom Solar, a fast-growing D2C solar company based in Faridabad, Haryana, is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Manager with 10+ years in solar PV module manufacturing maintenance.

You will lead maintenance for fully and semi-automatic production lines, implement TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and ensure ISO 9001/14001/45001 compliance while optimizing uptime and safety. Strong hands-on experience with stringers, laminators, testing equipment, and utilities is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in maintenance of solar PV module manufacturing equipment.
• Expertise in preventive, predictive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance of fully and semi-automatic production lines.
• Hands-on experience with stringer machines, layup stations, bussing machines, laminators, framing machines, junction box fixing machines, EL testers, Hi-Pot testers, flash testers, IV testers, cleaning machines, and packing lines.

Responsibilities

• Maximize machine uptime and achieve production targets through maintenance planning.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to minimize recurring breakdowns.
• Plan preventive maintenance schedules and annual shutdown maintenance activities.
• Manage installation, commissioning, and calibration of new manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain utilities including air compressors, chillers, vacuum pumps, DG sets, transformers, LT panels, UPS systems, HVAC, and compressed air pipelines.
• Lead a maintenance team of engineers and technicians, ensuring safety and SOP adherence.
