Job summary

Luminous Power Technologies (P) Ltd is seeking a Senior SW Engineer in Gurgaon to drive end-to-end data engineering initiatives. You will translate business needs into ML solutions, architect data pipelines, and deploy models in Azure while building insightful dashboards with Power BI.

Experience in Python, R, SQL, and cloud data services, plus strong analytical and communication skills, will help you succeed in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 0-4 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering/Data Science/Data Mining/Data Analysis.
• Experience in applying traditional statistics, machine learning, deep learning to business problems.
• Experience with Power BI (or Grafana) for dashboards and reporting.
• Experience with Azure Cloud services and data processing tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and contribute to architecture and design of ML projects.
• Develop and deploy machine learning projects from inception to deployment and maintenance (in Azure).
• Work on unstructured data and develop visualizations and dashboards using Power BI.

As Data Engineer in Luminous you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of Data Engineering related projects to help fulfill business needs. You will help transforming data into tangible business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelors / Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Experience

• 0-4 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering/Data Science/Data Mining/Data Analysis
• Have understanding & experience in applying traditional statistical, machine learning, deep learning, to address business problems
• Experience of building and deploying Predictive Models (with Azure Cloud services) will be an added advantage
• Experience in developing visualization, dashboards & report using Power BI (or, Grafana)
• Experience with Azure Cloud service
• Dataset Design, Data Aggregation, Data Cleansing & Data Profiling ability
• Experience in ETL and OLAP Cubes
• Have handled large volume of data independently
• Power BI Cluster Management & Performance tuning
• Experience in Data Migration
• Creating KPIs and Map based reports
• Optimizing report performance
• Strong experience in coding using Python and R
• Strong experience in SQL and its advanced functionalities (joins, nested queries & procedures)
• Hands on experience in DAX queries
• Experience in Agile development methodologies
• Power/Energy/Solar Domain experience will be an added advantage
