About the Role

Responsible for ensuring high uptime and efficiency of solar module manufacturing equipment through effective preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance. The role supports continuous production with minimal downtime and high-quality output.

Responsibilities

1. Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting
2. Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of module line machines
3. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues
4. Ensure quick fault diagnosis and resolution to minimize downtime
5. Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities and breakdown analysis
6. Solar Module Line Equipment Handling
7. Hands-on experience with machines such as:
8. Layup / Bussing stations
9. EL (Electroluminescence) testers
10. Framing machines
11. Junction Box (JB) fixing & curing machines
12. Flash testers
13. Ensure machine calibration, alignment, and process stability
14. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
15. Plan and execute PM schedules for all equipment
16. Implement predictive maintenance to reduce unexpected failures
17. Manage critical spares inventory and ensure availability
18. Process Improvement & OEE
19. Work with production team to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency)
20. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring breakdowns
21. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
22. Safety & Compliance
23. Ensure adherence to plant safety norms and SOPs
24. Maintain documentation for audits and compliance

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering
• Engineer: 2–5 years experience
• Sr. Engineer: 5–8 years experience
• Experience in solar module manufacturing
• Strong hands-on knowledge of PLC, drives, sensors, pneumatic and automation systems
