Job summary

G R Infraprojects seeks a competent Civil Engineer to supervise structural construction activities for highway projects. The role focuses on bridges, flyovers and RCC structures, with hands-on oversight of drawings, reinforcement and quality control at the site.

The candidate will coordinate with PM, QA/QC, survey and design teams to ensure safety, accuracy, and on-time delivery, while maintaining thorough site documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Highway / NHAI / MoRTH / Expressway / EPC road projects.
• Strong site execution and construction knowledge required.
• Bridge, Flyover, Box Culvert, Pier, Pier Cap, Abutment and Foundation works experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage structural construction activities for highway projects.
• Execute bridges, flyovers, box culverts, pier caps, abutments and RCC structures per drawings and specs.
• Review and interpret GFC/IFC drawings, structural drawings and construction methodology.
• Coordinate with PM, Construction Team, QA/QC, Survey and Design teams.
• Ensure proper line, level, alignment, dimensions and reinforcement before concreting.
• Monitor reinforcement, shuttering, staging/scaffolding and concreting activities.
• Ensure construction follows approved drawings, specs, method statements and quality standards.
• Coordinate survey and setting-out for piers and other structures.
• Monitor concrete pouring, cube testing, curing and other QC activities.
• Check quantities, progress and productivity at site.
• Identify construction issues and coordinate with departments for resolution.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and project quality standards.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and site documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in Highway / NHAI / MoRTH / Expressway / EPC road projects.
• Strong experience in bridge and structure execution.
• Experience in Bridge, Flyover, Box Culvert, Pier, Pier Cap, Abutment and Foundation works.
• Candidates with strong site execution and construction knowledge will be preferred.

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering: Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering: Minimum 8 years relevant experience.
• Preference for candidates with stable employment history and good tenure with previous organizations.
