Job summary

Harsha Constructions seeks a seasoned Structural Engineer for a Road Project under HAM. The role focuses on site supervision of bridges, culverts, retaining walls and other highway structures on a project site.

Required BE/B.Tech Civil (M.Tech preferred), 5+ years in highway/road and structural construction; HAM/NHAI experience preferred; strong knowledge of IRC/MoRTH IS codes and drawing review, with coordinating skills on multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering; M.Tech in Structural Engineering will be an added advantage.
• 510 years of relevant experience in highway/road and structural construction.
• Experience in HAM/NHAI projects will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of IRC, MoRTH specifications, IS Codes, structural drawings and site execution.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor construction of bridges, culverts, retaining walls, underpasses and other highway structures.
• Review structural drawings, design calculations, BOQs and technical specifications.
• Ensure execution is strictly as per approved drawings, IRC/MoRTH specifications and project quality standards.
• Check reinforcement, shuttering, concreting and other structural activities at site.
• Coordinate with design consultants, Project Manager, QA/QC team, contractors and client representatives.
• Identify site-related structural issues and coordinate for timely resolution.
• Verify quantities and assist in measurements, documentation and billing related to structural works.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to approved methodology and schedule.
• Prepare site reports, inspection records and other required technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements during execution.
