Responsibilities

• Coordinate with highway/ geotechnical/ site engineers; support construction and inspections.

Structural Design Engineer (Bridge)

Essential Qualification: M. Tech in Structural Engineering

Job Location: Thane, Maharashtra

Experience: 5-8 Years

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Structural Design Engineer (Bridge) in the design and analysis of highway, railway, or urban bridge structures. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with design codes, structural modeling tools, and preparation of design and construction documentation for complex bridge projects.

• Lead and execute the structural design and analysis of various bridge types including RCC, PSC, steel,
  composite, and segmental bridges.
• Prepare and review GADs, detailed design drawings, and construction drawings.
• Perform structural modeling and analysis using software such as STAAD.Pro, MIDAS Civil, CSI Bridge, or
  RM Bridge.
• Conduct load calculations as per IRC, IS and project‑specific standards.
• Prepare and validate design reports, structural calculations, technical specifications, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with highway engineers, geotechnical experts and site engineers.
• Provide technical support during construction, including review of shop drawings, resolving RFIs, and
  site inspection.
• Interact with government clients (e.g., MoRTH, NHAI, Railways, State PWDs) for design approvals and
  technical presentations.
• Ensure designs meet quality, safety, and sustainability standards.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software: STAAD.Pro, MIDAS, SAP 2000, SAFE, STAAD.PRO etc
• Strong working knowledge of relevant codes and guidelines: IRC, IS, MoRTH specifications, and international standards (e.g., AASHTO, BS) where applicable.
• Understanding of foundation design, seismic design, and hydraulic considerations for bridge design.
• Experience in preparing DPRs, feasibility studies, and tender‑stage documentation.
