Job summary

Smart IMS Inc. is seeking a Desktop Engineer to provide end-user computing support for a leading banking client. The role involves desktop support, troubleshooting, hardware/software installations, and user assistance in a corporate banking setting.

You will perform L1/L2 support for end users, manage accounts via Active Directory, and assist with Office 365 apps, with emphasis on SLA adherence and coordinating with infrastructure and security teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in desktop support and end-user computing.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues in a corporate/banking environment.
• Manage user accounts, access requests, and password resets via AD.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and SLA adherence.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 desktop support for end users.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows laptops, desktops and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts and access requests through Active Directory.
• Support Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams, and other business apps.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and printer issues.
• Perform software installations, upgrades, patching and asset management.
• Handle incidents and service requests per SLA.
• Coordinate with infra, network, security, and apps teams for issue resolution.
• Support onboarding, offboarding and workstation deployments.
• Asset management, inventory audits and lifecycle management.
• Security compliance, vulnerability remediation and audit support.
• Ticketing via ServiceNow/Remedy/JIRA.
