Job summary

Advik Hi Tech in Pune is seeking a design engineer to create 3D models and 2D drawings using Creo, releasing through PLM cycles, and performing theoretical calculations to meet design standards.

You will join the design team to execute projects on time with high quality, contribute to IFSR/FSR, GD&T analyses, prototype verification, and support APQP and Quality Gate activities while following 1S/2S principles.

Qualifications

• Experience in 3D modelling and 2D drawings using Creo.
• Strong GD&T knowledge to ensure design meets specs.
• Capable of contributing to IFSR and FSR activities.
• Experience with ECN and VAVE for quality and cost improvements.
• Follows 1S/2S workplace organization for efficiency.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Design

• Preparation of 3D modelling and 2D drawings using a software Creo & release through PLM cycle.
• Perform in-depth theoretical calculations to ensure that design specifications align with necessary requirements and industry standards.

2. Project Execution

• Be an integral part of the design engineering team and effectively execute assigned projects with a strong focus on ensuring high quality outcomes and adherence to project timelines time schedule.
• Contribute to Initial Feasibility Study Report (IFSR) and Final Feasibility Study Report (FSR) activities by providing valuable insights and engineering expertise.

3. Testing & Verification

• Carry out precise Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) analyses to ensure that components and products meet the specified design criteria.
• Contribute to the preparation of prototype samples and assist the team leader in the thorough verification of these samples to validate design concepts

4. Documentation

• Prepare documentation for Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Quality Gate (QG) activities, focusing on maintaining high standards of quality throughout the project.

5. Quality and Process Improvement

• Be responsible for the execution of Engineering Change Notice (ECN) activities, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of design changes.
• Actively participate in Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE) activities, aiming to enhance product quality and cost-efficiency.
• Maintain a well-organized working area by adhering to the principles of 1S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) and 2S within your designated work zone to enhance workplace efficiency and safety.
