Job summary

Garware Technical Fibres is seeking a detail-oriented professional to handle overseas enquiries, define product requirements, and prepare BOMs in coordination with the IB team, translating needs into clear AutoCAD drawings.

The role involves monitoring manufacturing quality against BOM and drawings, validating incoming materials, briefing shop floor teams on new products, and maintaining ready-for-audit records.

Responsibilities

• Handle enquiries from overseas customers and thoroughly understand their product requirements and application needs.
• Prepare the Bill of Materials (BOM) based on customer requirements and coordinate with the IB team for costing and execution.
• Develop product drawings using AutoCAD in accordance with the approved BOM and share them with the IB team to provide greater clarity on product specifications.
• Monitor product quality during manufacturing and ensure all products are fabricated strictly as per the approved drawings and BOM.
• Verify that all incoming materials comply with the specifications defined in the BOM and quality requirements.
• Communicate critical product parameters to the shop floor team and provide training whenever new products, processes, or requirements are introduced.
• Prepare job cards and conduct pre-production briefings with the production team to ensure clear understanding before fabrication commences.
• Maintain all manufacturing, inspection, and quality records in an organized manner, ensuring easy retrieval for audits, traceability, and customer claim investigations.
• Address customer feedback, non-conformities, and complaints using the 8D problem-solving methodology, and ensure timely closure with customers.
• Establish, implement, and maintain systems and processes in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards.
