Job summary

Noventiq is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer (L2) in Mumbai with 3+ years of Windows/Linux administration and 4+ years of AWS experience. You will manage server infrastructure, OS hardening, and cloud services across Linux, Windows, and middleware. Strong scripting and automation, plus solid documentation, are required.

Responsibilities include configuring web and app servers, setting up databases, and maintaining logging, backup, and security policies in a dynamic, on‑prem/cloud hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on Windows/Linux administration.
• 4+ years experience on AWS.
• AWS Certification – Associate or Professional (optional).
• Experience with automation using AWS and third‑party tools.

Responsibilities

• Extensive server administration on Linux and Windows.
• Configure OS boot process, kernel updates and troubleshooting.
• Network and routing configuration at OS level and OS hardening.
• Filesystem and user permissions management; log management.
• Set up remote/centralized Syslog and log rotation.
• Work with web servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS) and app servers (Tomcat, JBoss).
• Install and configure database servers (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Documentation and SOP preparation; ensure HA and virtualization awareness.
• Understand cloud architecture and AWS services (VPC/VPN/EC2/RDS/etc.).
